"DONT USE THIS SERVICE! I would of given them 0 starts if I could. I have paid my debt back without delay now for more than two years and I am currently in a very bad financial situation due to post covid constraints and being between jobs. I asked Lendwise to help me out for january and charge me less but they have not helped. I have been back and forwarding with them via email and and it feels like I'm being put off on purpose. I have been on hold to them for the last hour with no answer although they are open. Biggest mistake I ever made taking money out with them."

"I wasn't sure whether I would be able to finance my master's degree in London until I found Lendwise as I didn't qualify for a great deal of student finance. I was really nervous when I called the first time because I didn't fully understand what, on the face of it sounded like an unusual arrangement, the idea of other people investing in funding young people to study. The team on the phone was so friendly and easy to talk to that I applied straightaway after the call and received my loan exactly as explained. Though I heartily look forward to paying it off, I have been really impressed by this company, each month they sent me a clear statement of my repayments and the date I will complete them. Would highly recommend!"

"If I could have given 0 stars I would have. I had a major medical incident last year and have tried to arrange (on lendwises advice) A debt repayment plan . Lendwise have continuously bullied me. Every time they ask for medical evidence and I have gave it to them they have asked for more . Every time I have given them financial info they have changed the goal post and asked for more. Their latest tactic is 'we need to know why your electricity and gas is exceedingly high'....have they been watching the news or has the cost of living crisis passed them by? I feel like they are trying to break me into paying what I cannot pay. Stay away from this company !!"

"I found the whole Lendwise process opaque and unhelpful. I fully understand the P2P model and constrictions but the Company seem very rigid and inflexible. It was hard to understand what information they usefully require. Having obtained reports from 2 countries credit reference bureaus (zero adverse credit but also no credit history) and provided everything requested, they still declined the application with no reason given. As they allegedly support higher education and rely on future earning abilities to repay, declining this application would appear illogical, as it leads to a burgeoning employment market with worldwide demand. Was less than impressed with their lack of communication."

"Super patronising and unhelpful. I work in a bank and I understand that certain things can't be discussed but felt like absolute rubbish every time I to contact lendwise, they treat you like you're bothering then because they're so superior. Would never recommend! The costumer service is so bad that i just left a review stating this and their response is "I'm sorry we didn't give you a loan". Its like talking with a patronising robot. Prodigy finance are far better and way helpful (just fyi i didn't got a loan in either but the costumer service level in incomparable)"
