"Lovely people and it used to be my chemist of choice but, my goodness they are slow. There is something fundamentally wrong with their procedures. The queues for prescriptions has to be seen to be believed. I’m sure that if they didn’t provide an essential function they would have gone out of business long ago. You have to feel sorry for the staff, it must be awful working there. Come on Chappell. Get yourselves sorted!"
"Used to be a good pharmacy but now too unreliable. Frequently closed when they advertise as open, no information given. Reluctantly will have to use another, hopefully more reliable, pharmacy. Staff have always been polite and swift, when open."
"This pharmacy doesn’t realise that it is proving a vital service to the community. I am regularly going extended periods without medication because everybody that works at the pharmacy has to take their lunch break at the same time meaning that the whole service has to be shut down for key periods during the day. It’s really not suitable for people that work normal jobs and can only take time on their lunch break to pick up medication. Often you’ll find the staff here gossiping and moaning in front of customers resulting in an inefficient service meaning that if you work normal hours you’ll struggle to pick up your prescription in a reasonable and timely manner."
"Sadly, after being a loyal customer for nearly 30 years, I would no longer recommend or use this pharmacy. I fully appreciate the additional strain of a pandemic but as an NHS worker myself, I still expect accuracy and a timely service for my repeat prescriptions. I have not had good service for some time. I called 60+ times this week and still no-one answered. Woeful."
"Went in Friday at 2.pm, had to wait 15 minutes while the assistant tried to find the customers in front of me drugs, although there were quite a few assistants available only one was serving at the counter the rest were laughing and joking. The customer in front was eventually served, when I reached the counter and gave my details she quickly found my prescription but I was told it would take 30 minutes to make up. I couldn't wait because I had to pick my grandson up from school. After school I went again for my prescription but there was a queue outside the shop of about 12 people. There wasn't a queue outside the other pharmacy. I had to wait because I desperately needed my prescription. The queue didn't move very quickly and I had to wait nearly three quarters of an hour. The service was very bad and I will not be visiting this shop again"
