Reviews of Kellaway Pharmacy (Incl. Bristol Travel Clinic)
"Booked a covid booster for 9.05am only to arrive and see at least 15 other people waiting in a queue outside the pharmacy on a bitterly cold day (10/12/2022) apparently with the exact same time slot. As the pharmacy will be getting paid a fee per vaccine administered per person I can only assume that the massive oversight was out of greed, and that no thought was given for the wellbeing of the patients (mainly elderly) waiting outside in extreme weather conditions for goodness how long. Absolutely disgusting."
"Was treated so badly in there today after going just to pick up a couple of things only to be told they were closed. It was 12.55 and they didn't close until 13.00. They did let other people in the shop finish their purchases but I was told they would not serve me. Disgusting!"
"Visited to pick up prescription. 'Asked for name. When dispensing assistant came back with my prescription I showed her my pre payment certificate which she ignored and said "that's fine" without looking at it. I then was asked my address in a busy people packed environment. I provided my postcode. Assistant then asked for my address again. As I was starting to say my postcode the assistant then read out my address loudly and asked what my address was!! Please could kellaway pharmacy review its procedures? Pharmacies clearly need to confirm people's identity. A name, postcode and pre payment certificate with an address on it is more than sufficient to confirm identity without the need to announce my address in a public place. This is particularly important for vulnerable people and lone females. When I challenged the assistant she responded by saying there may be several people registered with the same name [with the same postcode and pre payment certificate!!!!]. Assistant would not hand over prescription until I asked her whether or not she would do so with the information i had provided otherwise i would immediately leave without it, reluctantly after a delay, she did so. It is a shame as I have found the actual owners of the pharmacy to be fantastic without exception. I will take my business elsewhere so long as assistant continues to work there."
"going in there to collect my prescription, i use to see how staff use to treat the new members of staff, constantly shaming them and putting them down. this is not how a professional work place should run, this pharmacy really needs fixing!"
"Honestly had the worst experience working here, the constant harassment i got from the staff here put me in a downward spiral to having mental health problems, this company has no family values what so ever, be careful what you sign up for, there was only one lovely lady there (ola) who helped me and saw how much i struggled with certain staff members, i was only new and was constantly put down and shamed in-front of everybody for my tiny mistakes by the main pharmacist, i got no support from the main pharmacist they only shamed me for what i did wrong never encouraged me or helped me to do better. if you want a place with family values, and people to support you and encourage you, and make you feel welcome then sorry this is not the place for you."
