"Very good location and nice design however lack proper maintenance; we checked in at a very cold winter night and was told the heating is set on a timer and it will be on quite some time. Actually the bedroom heating was not working for the first night, the next morning I woke up shaking. The windows are all old style. Although look really nice, they are poor sealing from the cold air. If you book this hotel, my suggestion will be: 1. asking for any rooms but the loft room. The floor is tilted and thus the bed is not even. One person will be struggling not to fall during the night. Hope the hotel will change the mattress soon. Another drawback of the loft is your activity is limited due to the height, it’s a personal sense of aesthetics of course. 2. After checking in, make sure all skylights are closed, we stayed 2 nights and found the sky lights in the living room were slightly open, that’s why I felt cold all the time. 3. To be fair, the shower and bath is very nice and clean."

"Turned up at reception and they didn’t have a room for me despite pre-payment. They had booked me a hotel at an alternative location. Told me they’d tried to ring me, checked my phone and they had… 15 minutes before at 21:51. Have seen another review on here talking about the same thing. Didn’t complain, nothing to be gained and not like I’ll go back."
