"Have stayed at this hotel many times as its convenient when visiting our son in Bath and much cheaper! However as other reviewers have said, it really does need some work doing the carpets are very old, the corridors are shabby. In spite of this the rooms are clean and have everything you need and powerful hot shower! Staff very hepp and friendly. Basic accommodation and good value for money and fine for an overnight stay. Not for you if you like everything looking smart"

"The hotel was nice, clean and we enjoyed our stay. Be aware of the parking there, although they sat that the parking is free and we parked where the told us to, the parking lot is not owned by them and we received a 100 pound bill for parking there from the lot management 3 months after. Plus service charges from the rental agency. We eat in the restaurant there and shopped in the stores, got gas at the service station but that doesn't matter watch where you park. Don't trust the parking lot."
