"Dreadful. I won't bore people here with the many details, suffice to say that you can only contact their complaints department via email. I rang the number they provided and eventually got through to a claims person after being informed by an automated voice that they've shut their UK offices because of COVID and that the people taking calls are based in Spain! There in no phone number and they didn't reply to my last email which was weeks ago. I currently have an ongoing case via the Ombudsman with one of their satellite firms, the equally terrible Davies Repairs. The Claims person stated they would contact their Complaints Dept. which simply isn't good enough given they've already failed via that method. Top to bottom terrible company. I shall be urging my local Council to avoid hiring this company in future."

"These people are my house insurance brokers.We put a claim in the end of February and still waiting for a response. You ring up get passed from pillar to post. Your told they will call back but they never do. My son has lost work through there incompodence.Its now May I wonder how much longer we will be waiting. I will not be using this company again once my insurance needs renewing"

"23 years a professional landlord and I have never experienced anything quite like this. Obstructive and not responsive. They have done all that they can to frustrate the course of our claim. Our claim has been running for over a month without any response despite our regular phone calls to chase. The condition of the house is deteriorating fast.. Now considering action via the ombudsman and lawyers. Appalling."

"Avoid at all costs - It's now two years into my claim and I have so far received half of the money. I've provided and done, within reason, everything that they have asked for. The two years have been paramount to a part time job chasing the incompetent staff at Ocaso and their loss adjuster - Davies by email and phone on a weekly basis. On the rare occasion that you get to correspond with someone, they don't do what they say they'll do and they offer only confusion and misinformation. If you are unlucky enough to have an open claim with them, my advice is to treat every interaction with the assumption that you will be required to produce a record of it in court. When you feel it's time to escalate your claim you can go to the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Insurance Ombudsman for help."
