"I visited Hammonds showroom in Bristol on a quiet Sunday afternoon. It was great talking with the sales manager Steve who showed me full range of styles and colours. Some of them were in fitted bedroom displays including hinged and sliding doors. As part of Park Furnishings store, Hammonds' is not a huge display area but big enough to get an idea of the quality and choices. (A nice bonus was to be able to look around house furnishings for living room and dining room as well.) Steve kindly found an urgent appointment slot for me for their designer's free home visit next day. The designet's visit also went well by Alan Murray who came over with samples, measured two bedrooms, discussed my requirements and designed wardrobes for both bedrooms in my chosen style, colour and intetnal layout. He produced nice CAD renderings of the bedrooms with wardrobes and prepared the sales offer on the spot. All inside an hour. I received everything in the email within a couple of hours to look at and think about in my own time. I still have to decide on their offer. Hammonds in Bristol is hosted by Park Furnishings in the retail park next to Ikea. Unfortunately Hammonds website gives wrong GPS coordinates of the location which was frustrating when I was trying to get there. Eventually, I did find it but it's a pity to make such a simple PR mistake. For this reason, I'm taking away one star from my rating for Hammonds."
