"Another treat for the adults as well as the children and grandchildren. We had a sunny afternoon luckily taking cover in the café 2 hours later before the rain! £11 for 8 tickets = 2 rides for 4, good value we thought. The rides aren't long, we fitted in 4 and spent time watching the train set go round and round all in about an hour and a quarter. This could, though, be combined with a walk or cycle ride in the extensive park. We would visit again."
"This is always a fun day out. Reasonably priced and my son loves it"
"Fantastic day out for all the family. I even took my baby on the trains in a papoose (you sit astride the ‘carriages’. Very reasonably priced."
"What an absolutely fantastic place! You can tell the people/ volunteers absolutely love theirs jobs, so helpful and friendly and always happy to answer questions. So many miniature trains running that you don’t have to wait long at all. Our 3 year old train fanatic couldn’t get enough of the place, he didn’t want to leave. Each ride is only 90p and they offer deals on bulk purchases for tickets. I really do hope this place stays open!! I’ve signed the petition!!"
"I wasn't even aware that this place existed until I read about the fact that Bristol City Council are considering not renewing the lease for the site. I visited with my two kids on their open day, and we all enjoyed it immensely. The volunteers were all really friendly and helpful, stopping to answer questions about how the trains worked from curious children. The rides are pretty short, about two and a half minutes, but it's great fun and the kids really enjoyed it. Now that I know it's here I'll definitely come back again. I just hope that they get to stay."
