"If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I started off using Jobyco and stopped using them due to the intolerable level of unprofessionalism. An aunt recommended Emmastina because they are in East London and was closer at the time so I went with them. They have always been unprofessional in communicating times for pickup but I stayed with them because at least, unlike Jobyco, they would at least turn up that day even though it would be extremely late, close to midnight sometimes. I started to lose patience when my husband called one time to have a box picked up in my absence and they tried to pull a fast one to charge £10 more, just because they assumed he was new. Beyond that, we moved out of London and booked a collection and had the rudest encounter ever with the owner. As a typical Ghanaian, he assumed he was doing me a favour to pick up my box because I was on the outskirts and postponed pick up over a number of days, giving one excuse after the other.. If it was not another customer delaying him on one day, it would be that a container was not available on the next. They do not want to invest in the right technology to optimise their pickup points and you need to keep calling to check whether they are still attending. You always need to take a day off work just to get a box or parcel collected which is not sustainable for everyone. In the end the owner told me I was not the only customer who needed a box to be collected so I need to stop bugging him with calls. Mind you, I was not getting a free service. After the rude call, I had enough and went on an online hunt and found Manc Global Logistics which is the dream for anyone who wants to ship from UK to Ghana door to door. I felt that some business out there should be offering this same service and doing it RIGHT. They operate very much like DPD and arrive on the date and time they say they will with a live car tracker. Payment is cashless as well so no need running around to withdraw from an ATM prior. No familiarity in the process because its Ghanaian, its extremely professional and timely. They were able to pick my box in 15mins during my lunch hour, leaving me the rest of the 45minutes to finish my lunch. All this professional service for the same price - unbelievable, right? I will not recommend Emmastina by any means. Save yourself the hustle and do not settle for any businesses that simply would not pull their weight. Also its possible to run a Ghanaian business right abroad, Manc Global Logistics is proof."
