"I went to B&Q for MDF primer and was told, they don’t have any, they don’t know when they will be getting any and no they can’t order any! Went to Selco, there was none on the shelf. Asked a man on checkout, very helpful, checked the shelves for me and then went and got a ladder and found some at the back of the top shelf for me. What a difference in customer service. I won’t be using B&Q again! The name on my receipt was Lukasz. Thank you, more shops need more staff like this."
"I am not sure if i should give 2 stars really as most of the time i just get on with my shopping and it’s fine, a couple of weeks ago i was doing my garden and ordered 2 bulky bags of MOT type 1 which was brilliant from ordering at till to arriving at mine, then i needed some sharp sand so i popped into the store, there was some bags of sand slightly damaged and i though i would pick then up as didn’t really need much so i asked a guy there how to go about it if there was any discount on the damaged bags and he pointed at another guy who seemed to have some sort of position within the store ( a manager maybe) and said he will help you however, the guy with the position ( the manager) seemed disinterested regardless of what help i needed, and started rolling his eyes without knowing what i was after, i believe he was Eastern European, i have never felt so small in my entire life so i said don’t worry not a big deal, and purchased 3 undamaged bags. If this guy was my employee and treated customers like that he would have been out of the premises by noon! All staff i have encountered at this brand are brilliant but the manager… Seems at this branch staff lead by example and managers are power hungry"
"Order placed online for delivery. On delivery day only part of order delivered. After three hours of phoning the delivery branch (Filton) I gave up as no one would answer the phone. Next day I emailed Head Office asking for a refund. Their response is refer query to delivery branch. 24hrs later, I've had no response from branch, so email the branch directly. Another 24hrs pass with no response. I then email Head Office AND delivery branch, at this point 36hrs later, there's still no response. I have heard bad things from other customers, staff and former staff but didn't think it could be this bad. For a company so keen to promote their app and online offering, it's remarkable! Terrible customer service - avoid"
"Service at tills by staff is of five star rated. But delivery system is pathetic. My delivery was booked for Wednesday , it arrived 5:15 pm when guys were finishing. They can't tell what time they will deliver. Atleast they are expected to deliver in one hour or 2 hour or 3 hour windows. But the delivery system seems to be lost, not very professional. Otherwise staff at tills is brilliant. They certainly need to improve their delivery timings and procedure otherwise what is the fain on price becomes loss on labour and time."
