Levernbank Kennels

"The reception area was stinking so can't imagine what the kennels were like! Extremely unimpressive!"

"We used these kennels for our 5 month old Collie for the first time over the weekend (24 hour stay). When we collected her initially we had no concerns as she raced out excited to see us. We noted the kennels seemed very busy with animals excessively barking. I asked the female in reception how she’d been to which I was told “fine… she’s fast”. I had to ask if she’d been walked, fed, etc. When we got home she ran straight for her water bowl and drank the full amount. Then I noticed her nose was dry and cracked, and had a burn/rash/inflammation on her snout - clearly from repeatedly pressing her face against the kennel wire. As mentioned in a previous owner review, my issue is not that this happened, but that it was not brought to our attention. This shows a complete lack of care and awareness. Within the next 12 hours she had chronic diarrhoea and dehydration. We will not be using these kennels again."

"Hector spent 2 weeks here and was so well cared for. You can tell they really care for the animals as whenever I take Hector here he runs to the girls for hugs. He came home all freshly bathed. Would recommend these kennels for your fur babies"

"Our little dog spent a week boarding with Levernbank and we couldn't be happier with the care she recieved. Our girl is an old lady with some health conditions and finds it difficult to control her toilet, therefore we felt this was the best option for herwhile we were on holiday. As a family we were very nervous to leave our lovely girl but my husband put us at ease when he told us of how lovely and caring the staff were when he dropped her off. They answered all his concerns and assured him she would be fine as they did with me when I called to book. She was happy when we collected her and I could tell that she had been well cared for in our absence. She was bathed and smelling lovely! I would definitely use these kennels again! And she will now return in a few weeks time to be groomed. I am very thankful for the care and love that my girl was given at Levernbank!"

"Amazing staff and facilities, our dog was well looked after. Kennel doesn't open until 9am and closes at 5pm with a lunch time slot between 12 noon and 2pm when you can collect your pet. Also note that If you collect your pet after 10am on the day of departure you pay for the remainder of the day, still, a great kennel that inspires trust that your pet is being looked after well."
