"Hotel King Solomon booked my taxi through this company. They confirmed over phone twice that it is £100 for a ride to the Gatwick airport. When the driver picked me up he said it is £135 kept on mentioning that it is the company that makes prices but funnily enough he asked for cash only. I asked for the company’s name and he raised his voice at me to answer my question in a very rude, annoyed and aggressive way. He was also drinking and eating during the ride which I’m pretty sure it is illegal to do so. It’s a scam and it is a terrible service."

"Just called to ask if they can take my friend who uses a walker that folds up into trunk. Just told flat no. Don't take disabled people as 'don't have big enough car'. Am assuming this is illegal. However given the rudeness of the controller would be reluctant to use them anyway."

"Diamond mini cabs provides very bad and disappointed service. Today while I rang to find out the cost from Hackney to Stansted airport, phone taker/controller shows very rough attitude and told me that he would take me to airport free while I told price increase since last month ... We should avoid this service for our own safety and definitely I will tell other as well about their bad service. Call taker/controller seriously needs training on how to talk to customers and increase sales"

"Where is the 0 star option? How this shambles of a taxi service has a TFL license is beyond me. If you're reading this review, don't make the same mistake we did and arrange for this pathetic service to get you to your flight, safely and on time. In hindsight we should of come here to see what previous customers have had to say. After arriving over 30 minutes late to pick us up to take us to Stansted airport, the taxi driver's car reeked of smoke + other stenches. During the 30+ minutes we were waiting for this car, we were reassured several times by the operator that he was '5 minutes away', 'Around the corner', 'On our road' which I guess stopped us from making alternative arrangements and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The car was gross, the daft git didn't have a clue where he was taking us, and after finally reiterating to him that we were on the minutes for our flight, some directions to get us out of Stoke Newington we finally started to make up for some lost time. And by this I mean. Erratic, stupid and dangerous driving. Literally holding on for dear life in this banger of a taxi we finally made it onto the motorway. With the clock counting down, we began to notice cars beeping at us as they passed to try and make us aware of something. This we soon learned was a popped tyre, and within 5 minutes of actually turning off to get to the Airport we grinded to a halt. Looking at the car, it was inevitable. How this car was passed safe to drive is again, beyond me. The driver again 'reassured' us that the tyre would be changed in no time, the guy took 5 minutes to get it out of the boot. Whilst one of us tried desperately to flag down a passing vehicle to hitch a ride, the others attempted to help, it turns out that the tyre had somehow became moulded to the axle due to the amount of time it had been driven on. After closer inspection of the car, it seemed all tyres were near enough flat. Anyway, you know how it goes. Missed flight, had to then fork out another £300+ each to actually make the trip a reality. No apology, had the cheek to ask for the money. Complete and utter joke. I hope no one else has to go through what we did. Get Diamond off the streets."

"I used Diamond Cars to get from Stoke Newington to Stansted for an early flight - had to leave at 4am. Service was fine, picked up on time with no problem. Driver did not drive aggressively like some minicab drivers I have had. Good value."
