"Worst cab company I have ever used. Cancelled a large booking last minute with no reasonable excuse despite multiple previous conversations telling me that the booking has been confirmed weeks ago. Incoherent staff unable to follow simple commands and blatantly lying about reasons for cancellation. Avoid at all costs and do not be tempted to book with them. Edit: The owner of this fraudulent business replies to any comment saying that I have called a different company - for clarification I have called on the number that is clearly stated on the website and on one of the pictures supplied in Google maps. If this was the wrong number how come your 'business' has not changed its public profile and telephone number for years? I have now formally reported this."

"Absolutely atrocious service. Cancelled all my cars at the time that they were supposed to be arriving. I booked 4 cabs in advance and double checked my booking twice on the morning that they were booked and then all 4 cars failed to show up. This lest 24 guests unable to get to my wedding. Their training was they couldn’t guarantee to get guests there on time so instead they just left my guests unable to get there at all. The worst company I have ever used and the customer service was non existent. Don’t book unless you don’t want to ever get to your destination"

"Do not use this company. I booked a car hours ago and I was told it was booked and it would be on time this afternoon. I then got a call to say my car would be 5 - 7 minutes, only to get a call a second after hanging up from that call to tell me that actually there were no available cars. I then got a text message to tell me they had cancelled by booking. I had booked it hours before. No apology. Unreliable and pointless if booking with this company doesn't guarantee you a car for when you request it."

"Absolutely awful. Made an advanced booking for a taxi cab to go to the airport. The cab didn't turn up. When I called to ask where the cab was I was told that they had no idea where the cab was and the cab should be with me in 20 but it would only arrive when a driver was available. Apparently advance booking is pointless now. Shocking service. I'll never use them again. EDIT: I can see a response from the owner on other reviews saying that Blackheath cars hasn't operated since the beginning of COVID. If the owner reads this review please try calling the reservations line yourself on the number you have been using for years (+442083185431). It is answered by a company claiming to represent Blackheath Cars. It really is a shame as I have used Blackheath Cars for years with no issue"

"Cab failed to turn up for morning pick-up for airport transfer. Booked a cab for an early morning ride to North Greenwich Station, in order to transfer to tube for a flight. Called at pick-up time to be told "they didn't know where the car was" and "it should be there within 20-30 minutes". No apology, forced to cancel and make other arrangements. Would NEVER use them again."
