"Booked a car for the journey home from the Airport. Was given a decent price when booking online. They called a few days before and said they need an additional £15 for the congestion charge and £5 for parking. On the day of collection, the driver didn’t pay to park and actually collected us from the Departure drop off. It’s £5 so I didn’t mind. My issue was the congestion charge. I live just outside and route the driver took didn’t actually go through the congestion zone but I was still made to pay it. Disappointed. Will use another company in the future."
"Booked this taxi from Earlsfield to Stanstead airport (during a train strike). The taxi driver was so accommodating. They rang us ahead to let us know that the taxi driver has left. The taxi driver was very friendly and even put pop music on for us to enjoy on the way to the airport. Would definitely recommend this service."
"I have booked 8 seater Cab to Gatwick for my family. The driver was on time with clean vehicle. He was smartly dressing. The prices are very competitive as well. It was nice experience. I will differently recommend to my friends to use them. Also I have booked return as well next week. Because they do pickup from the Airport as well. Now we don't have to book Uber for Airport journeys because there drivers cancel again and again long journeys. We'll done ✔️"
"We booked a cab to take us to King’s Cross and despite allowing 90 minutes for a 45-minute journey we nearly missed the train. The reason was that the driver refused to take the fastest route there because - we found out much later - he didn’t want to go through the ULEZ (paying a toll). Despite us pleading with him and offering to pay more he wouldn’t. It turned out that the fare quoted (£30) was misleading - it would have been a whopping £45 if we’d gone through the congestion charge area. I’ve used Jet Cars since the early 90s, so I gave the company the opportunity to explain but none was forthcoming. Please be aware when they quote a fare that it might not via the quickest route."
