"A word of caution to anyone buying a property and using these solicitors - they're emails have been hacked and all your details, personal information etc is compromised and available to scammers. I nearly lost a quarter of a million pounds when I received an email asking to transfer money to complete the purchase. Once at the bank ready to make this transfer, my gut told me to double check account details with Blakewells. They then confirmed over the phone that this was not their account and their emails had been compromised. No apology and no follow up from Blakewells about what they were going to do to prevent this from happening in the future. They absolutely do not care about customer sensitivity, and your personal details are not safe with them."
