"A superb experience. What a clever piece of engineering to create a magnificent tribute to such gorgeous creatures. The impression of their spirit changes as the light and atmosphere around them changes and alters the shadows on their muscles, manes and eyes.. spent over an hour in total awe. There are good parking facilities and easy access for mobility impaired. A good gift shop and eats and drinks are available, with good seating outside. Toilet facilities are excellent."
"We were not expecting much, but found both the Kelpies and Helix park worthy of an afternoon and we wish we had timed it for sunset and the lit Kelpies with the colorful lights. Next time we will see them at night as well! We arrived early afternoon and it was not crowded. We enjoyed reading information in the small museum, looking at the scale versions, and sitting by the water pond. The Kelpies are HUGE and really amazing to see. Very wild and majestic, despite their steel plate construction. We had a lovely walk around Helix Park after and before, which was also wonderful, well laid-out, and clean. People were so friendly here, too, as they enjoyed the public space. Ample, safe parking nearby. Also worth seeing are the canal systems and houseboats along the waterway."
"Great place for family. The walking trails are well maintained and easy to walk for all ages. The largest equine sculptures in the world are worth seeing. You can spend hours taking photographs from different angles. I had a great time here and it is a place which I often visit."
"Itβs a fantastic place to visit at Falkirk, Scotland. There are many things to explore and walk around at the Helix. The Kelpies is very beautiful structure. Itβs also a lovely experience during the evening time when itβs lighted up. There are lot of parking places available. They charge only 2 pounds per car. There is NO other entry fee. The visitor center have nice seating cafe, toilets and gift shops for everyone. Its worthy to visit anytime of the year. A good place to visit with family. Loved the place. A must visit place in Scotland .."
"Lovely place to visit with lots of free parking and easy access by car. It has well displayed information boards around which makes it easy for the first timers to visit the place. There is a big play park free of charge with lots of fun opportunities for all ages ( including benches). Easy access to all areas for wheelchair users ( might only need a bit of support on hilly parts of the walk). Unfortunately on the day we went there there was a very unpleasant smell which got much stronger around the play area and because of that we had to leave the place. Hope this isn't an issue every day."
