"My partner and I stayed overnight and had a very enjoyable stay. From the moment we checked in to checking out all was perfect. The staff were above and beyond and made you feel very welcome. The reception area was very fresh smelling, inviting and cosy looking, and our room was no different. The attention to detail made all the difference Thank you for a lovely stay, will definitely stay again when next visiting Edinburgh."
"I arrived at the Hotel Indigo Edinburgh York street, and I was amazed at the reception I received. It was very warm and welcoming on a very wet evening. Vincent and Carla have been exemplary! They found my IHG number even as I explained I could not access my app (password reset didn't work). They gave me a room which was too small (I have an issue with tight spaces). When I explained they went the extra mile to find me another room and it is perfect. They also helped me find a good place to order dinner with expert knowledge of the local cuisine. I'm very impressed with the service indeed! 5 stars from me!!"
"My daughter and I stayed here for our last night in Edinburgh and were delighted with the warm greetings by staff. It was too early to check in when we arrived, but the staff still offered to take out bags. When we came back for check in the bags were already in our room! The rooms themselves were wonderful as well. There was a nice street view and clean and modern amenities. I will keep my eye out for Hotel Indigos for future trip planning!"
"Just back from a fantastic weekend in Edinburgh, picked Hotel Indigo because of its location great reviews. Our room was stunning, massive king size bed, high ceilings and well decorated. Only complaints I have is when having a room facing onto York Street the noise of the trams is very loud, probably why your provided with ear plugs on your bedside table, my other complaint is the king bed is made up of two beds pushed together, can feel the two mattresses when lying in bed. Lots of great pubs and bars within a two minute walk so would recommend."
"We chose this hotel for the weekend as we love the IHG chain. The location was perfect for us, a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 2 minute walk to the pubs/shopping centre. The entrance way was understated but very welcoming. The 2 gentlemen on the desk were extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Our room was ready when we arrived, which was early and we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room was fabulous! The decor is predominately giraffe based and is really quirky, but the room itself was spacious, airy and cool for a summer night. There are ear plugs supplied as it is on a busy road, but there was no noise at all and we slept perfectly! We will definitely be returning as this could be our new favourite hotel, and I highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay."
