"The Chez Nous offers nothing to brag about but I will try my best to see the positives. The concierge service is not to be expected as its non existent due to the fact I believe the resident junkies don't require this service. My room which I believe they call compact and bijou could also be called shabby chic but it is far from chic and definitely shabby. The wardrobes and dressers lack handles but who needs handles to open doors these days. The blinds on the windows although white when new around 1976 have over the years built up so much nicotine stain that the brownish look gives a certain jous nè ce quoi. Having a TV in the room does distract the eye from the brown wood chip wallpaper that was also probably put up in 1976 around the same time as the stained carpets. The staff are the only positive in this place they have a tough job to do and the fact they do it with a smile deserves some kind of award. All in all to summarise Chez Nous is similar to nothing you will ever want to experience in your life unless you are homeless and have nowhere else to go."
