"Amazing school love it here. Progressed throughout the school with no problems at all. This is a great school you should send your child here. Good teachers, good food. I have nothing to complain about"
"As a parent of a student who attends here, I would like to publicly complain of the severe bullying my child went through whilst attending here. The teachers try to resolve this unjustified hate crime but only manage to make it worse. But the brownies I get brought home are definitely a 10/10."
"I am currently a student at this school in year 8, this is what I have to say so far. on one hand it seems better then another local school some of my friends go to(not saying the name, that’s not fair on that other school) and you get decent lunch and some of the teachers are really nic w most of the time But on the other hand, the teachers seem to care a lot about how the uniform looks on students rather then how children are doing mentally. I was diagnosed with ASD in year 5(before joining HH) but I’m receiving(and have been for the whole time I have been here) very little support. I waited a long time to get a therapist for ELSA sessions and when I did I was very happy but they had to stop seeing me due to people ‘needing it more then me’ so I went a few months with no support for my SEN and my multiple mental illnesses (like an un-diagnosed psychotic disorder and PTSD) I am aware they are doing the best they can to take care of many students but it seems like they don’t even notice most of us unless we start crying, acting up or being top of the class. I now have a therapist who sees me in school but she is from a charity. Aswell as (in my opinion) the lack of support for students mental health, the school barely punishes people for being discriminatory (including being Racist, Sexist, Homophobic, Transphobic, Islamaphobic, Antisemetic, Abelist and more) wich I think is pathetic, I know kids that have been bullied for ages and had it gone completely un-known to teachers of thats what it seemed like) One last bad point (sorry) the school punish kids for not wearing old fashioned uniform standards. Your not allowed to roll your skirt to make yourself more confident and comfortable but the boys are allowed to be sexist. Your not allowed to have your shirt un-tucked but yea hers are allowed to wear summer dresses. L I’m doing good in all my lessons but many of my friends arent. This school needs change. But it’s not a bad choice at all. I do enjoy it here because of nice people and good food and some good lessons but some lessons are too easy and some people are bigots"
"Having already had one daughter go through the school who is now in full time employment I also have a daughter in year 10. Both girls views of the school is positive. The facilities are fantastic have had a virtually complete rebuild. The teachers are a credit to the school and go out of their way to help with extra tuition and outside sporting fixtures. The new uniform is great and gives a far smarter appearance than the old one. If you are trying to decide if this school is right for your child I urge you to visit it and see for yourself the massive improvements that have been made."
"My son is very happy and well educated at this school. Huge strides made at this school in the last couple of years. Very smart new uniform, very accomplished Head Teacher and and enthusiastic teaching staff. The parents group at the school is now very active and supportive. I would not hesitate in recommending the school. There are old reviews for the school which do not reflect the current set up or indeed the upward direction the school is going in - these should read in context."
