"This place is awesome. Was looking for a new racket. Nice little try before you buy set up where I was able to play around with a few rackets over a few weeks to find the right match. Steves knowledge is superb and extensive, combine this with Georgie’s ability to recite the brand slogans. A tennis shop has never been better. Visit- purchase - play."

"Fantastic customer service and excellent advice! We had the chance to try 3 rackets during 1 week before choosing the one that fits the best, all of that with very good advice from the staff. They really took the time for us and when we came back with the racket we chose, they were very helpful to find the small grip that I needed and stringed it directly according to what would fit the best, thank you so much! We'll definitely be back!"

"From visiting Racquet Academy, I was very happy because it was a refreshing experience as the staff were very sincere. During my visits to the shop, I met Steve, John and I also met some younger members of staff. Everyone was friendly, polite, helpful and professional. Following my initial visit to the shop, I tried their demo service. Where I played with 3 racquets for the next 2-3 weeks. After this, I ended up trying another 2 racquets. Where I ended up buying a ProKennex. Racquet Academy is Fantastic! They're; 1. Very friendly 2. Very helpful 3. Polite 4. Professional 5. Very generous with their time 6. Very knowledgeable"

"This place is amazing! They helped me to really understand all the details related several racquets (all those impressive small snippets of information that you don't easily find out there). I was able to take 3 different racquets to test and use them for a week until I decided on which one specifically was the best for my game. Once I decided, their turn around was great and I'm really loving my new Clash 100 Pro. I also ended buying a new bag, some extra balls and will continue getting all my Tennis gear with them for sure. I believe that they show true passion for the game and hence their advice is honest, spot on, friendly and extremely professional."

"Friendly and helpful staff who were making an effort to help us find beginner tennis racquets. Interrupted by the rude manager who told us we were breaking the law by photographing the brand and model of racquets we were interested in, in order to ask our tennis coach for advice. He told us they have copyright protection of the racquets and that it was illegal - I don't believe this is the case. He then went one step further and said it was awful of me to demonstrate such behaviour in front of his young girl shop assistant which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. This is not the law, however due to being private property he did have the right to ask us to stop. Appreciate a local business is trying to protect itself from people who try the racquets in the shop then order online at the cheapest price - however you can't assume this is always the case, and I don't believe aggressive confrontation is the solution. From the similar reviews here this doesn't seem like the first time it has happened. I won't be returning to the store to purchase the racquets, or recommend it to friends. My advice is to use your friendly and knowledgeable staff to encourage people to shop local rather than pushing them away due to fear of being undercut by economies of scale."
