"This is a good od traditional theatre in the heart of Glasgow, we went there for a Saving Grace concert featuring Robert Plant and Suzi Dian. The venue had old style seating but it was comfortable and warm on a driech Glasgow night. Good view although the tickets said restricted view, must have known about the tall gadgie sitting in front of me. It was a nice old venue, but there was quite a bit of queueing to get in. Concert was outstanding."
"Very close to Charing Cross station. Classy vintage theatre with fancy decor and perfect acoustics. Sat in the stalls. Seat was not the most comfortable but maybe that was just me. Bar at the back of the stalls doing a good trade. Plenty of helpful staff on hand. Gents toilets were ok but no hand drier. Will do my best to go again. It felt good to be going out for an evening."
"What a great night for Into the Groove...Madonna Tribute. Staff were friendly and helpful, delivered drinks to your seat (saves waiting at the bar) great atmosphere, enough space to stand if you wanted. Lovely ceiling decor too. Would definitely attend again."
"I visited King’s Theatre for the Building & History tour on Saturday morning. Having visited the theatre several times previously for various performances, I was interested in the ‘backstage tour’ they offer intermittently. The tour lasted around 50 minutes and was very informative. I would highly recommend the tour. The building is stunning and it was fascinating to see behind the scenes."
"Seats are quite small, I'm glad there was a space to one side of me. However, it's a lovely venue. Very traditional and Victorian with amazing acoustics. We went to see Stuart Lee (who was superb) and he seemed to appreciate it too. Staff were also courteous and really nice."
