"After a few bad hair experiences, I decided to try somewhere new & booked into Revive at Yoker. I have short hair & prefer it that way but sometimes feel that places can't be bothered styling short hair. Karen did my cut & she was fantastic. After a few visits, I ventured into colouring & highlighting & again Karen was fantastic. Both Thomas & Karen are very welcoming & chatty with customers, they made me feel at ease very quickly. I would highly recommend this salon if you're looking to book in somewhere."

"I got a haircut from one of the ladies in the salon and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, the second visit has left me with the worst haircut I have ever gotten. A man who cut my hair did everything I specifically and repeatedly asked him not to do. I explained my hair was tied up for a few days and has not been washed so it got straight but was naturally curly/wavy. The man seemed to ignore that completely. After washing my hair he started blow drying it while straightening it on a brush. You never cut curly hair when dry! This is the basic and most important rule for cutting curly hair. I have been explained that by many hairdressers already. I kept asking whether he was going to wet them and why he was drying and streightening them despite being told I did not like them straight. His answer was (paraphrasing) he wanted to see how they looked like (?!). What did he mean? How would they looked like while unnaturally styled? I asked to get a fringe done and said many times not to cut it short and I wanted to start from a longer one and than cut shorter if needed. Also, that because my hair was curly (he seemed not to believe that and did not listen) they will go up and be shorter than the cut. The first cut he did was on the level of the middle of my forehead. The cut was not for the curly hair hairstyle so he then used a straightener to straighten all hair and the fringe even more. I am going for a wedding next week and have no idea what I am going to do. The man was lovely but needs to learn to listen to his customers. Also, some training for cutting curly hair is required. As great as it was the first time, I am never going to come back there. I have been very upset ever since. I am angry and super upset. When the guy saw "the masterpiece" he's left on my head he said "I am very sorry. I hope you won't come back here with a baseball bat". I"

"Some people love the hairdressers, some like me are terrified as I never feel confident enough to pipe up and say what I really want done. The girls here are amazing! Took so much time chatting about what I wanted done, talked me through what each step of my styling/coloring process. I got my hair to the colour I wanted after years of build up from box dyes...I will be back!! Fantastic experience and surprisingly reasonable, thanks girls x"
