"Enjoyable and quiet walk around a historic site of an 18th century quarry later used as a cemetery and gardens. Even has an old spring found in 1773 and it still runs today which they say has healing properies. Located alongside the Liverpool Cathedral."
"Its a lovely little place to stroll on a sunny day very strange to think this was once a cemetery full of old head stones some interesting features to look out for"
"We just did the Gardens today though it was very interesting with all the grave stones that are around, it certainly gives one an history lesson. It’s many years since I’ve been inside the cathedral though off remembrance it is very beautiful. Well worth a visit"
"We visited for an organised ghost story tour. Brilliant history in this place (if you know what to look for) I'd recommend looking up "Tales of the necropolis" online, as this is a fun tour around the site Id recommend. Surprisingly large cemetary with countless stories and historical landmarks."
"We walked through the gardens in order to get to the Cathedral. Considering how epic the cathedral is, we were quite underwhelmed by the gardens next to it. I understand there are lots of graves present but the state of the gardens is really poor, in fact a large tree fell just moments before we got to it! Very unkept. It’s a missed opportunity this place. It could be a paradise."
