Reviews
"Only stopped in for a night cap on way home. Had a couple of groups in for Xmas parties so music was pretty loud. Staff didn't seem in very festive mood but not impolite or anything so service was ok. Prices reasonable in city centre for 1 pint lager, 1 small pinot grigio, £9.60p."
"A fine pub with very nice beer. Mostly, though, it is a restaurant with only a small amount of space for those who just want beer. Also, it is a long time since I came across a £10 minimum spend on card. It made me wonder whether people in Scotland still use cash. Maybe it's just a way of putting off casual drinkers. You can't even run a tab. Back to the review; good beer, nice atmosphere and really pleasant staff."
"Came here on Friday evening for the first time, my friend and I were going to see a film and popped in for some quick food and a drink. Staff were pretty friendly, our server (unsure of his name) was really lovely! Food did take a little while, and the burger was slightly underwhelming, but the chips and salad were nice. Overall, not bad!"
"The food was nice. I had the Steak Pie, the only thing that let it down was that the vegetables were cooked from frozen. Other than that, the service was quick and friendly."
"Got a warm welcome as we entered, the member of staff was friendly and helpful. Service was quick and efficient. Food was really nice and decent size portion so value for money."
