Reviews
"Lovely slightly out of the way nature reserve. Great for dog walking and bird watching. In the autumn you can get sloes from the hedgerows and make some sloe gin."
"Small but lovely pond."
"It's been a while since I went for a walk round Lightshaw and was really disappointed to see it so overgrown and uncared for. When it was first planted it looked lovely but now it is virtually unrecognizable from the lottery funded plantation with most of the paths overgrown and the trees taking over. I hope this can be rectified in the future, it would be such a shame to lose it."
"Nice relaxing walk with the dog anytime of the year alongside the Leeds & Liverpool canal. The walk stretches from Leigh where I started to Wigan pier where I stopped and turned back round. Fantastic for all."
