Reviews
"I just wanted to update my review as I had a great experience the other day. The lady in there is so amazing. She could see how stressed I was and she offered to ring my doctor for me to sort my issues out and the next day the gentleman working in there called me with an update. They went above and beyond to help me. Staff are always very friendly in here. I usually call first to make sure that my prescription is ready. It is a very popular and busy pharmacy so I would suggest arriving in good time before closing so that you get served. I was once in line when a customer had been told by their doctor that if they popped in they would be given their prescription on the day. Unfortunately for the customer this was not possible as it was right before closing time so I would suggest always calling them before hand even if your GP has said to just pop in."
"Shut at 2pm on a Wednesday with no note or explanation and phones are cut off. Need my infants perception that was sent there. I hope no one with a medical emergency has gone there needing their medication. Fuming, annoyed."
"Dreadful staff. Miserable, unhelpful and bad mannered. Shop looks like it is about to close down. Bare shelves and unkempt. I now use Mayors (over the other side next to Co-op) as much as possible."
"Hate to give out negative results, but here it goes: booked a flu jab with two weeks' notice, then received a phone call on the day (2-3 hours before the appointment) saying it'd been cancelled. I wasn't offered a new slot and when I asked, they directed to me re-book myself on their website. But then the website didn't take new bookings as it claimed "they needed to honour existing appointment first". Well (pun not intended), my wasn't honoured. Decided to get my jab somewhere else."
"The permanant pharmacist has an attitude like she just doesn't care. Once I had to wait in excess of 30minutes to collect a prescription. When the repeat is delivered I keep getting the wrong type of the medication even after so many attempts of trying to put in notes to prevent it from happening. I have to keep sending it back. When you walk in to get a prescription, even after explaining a child is in the car with a very high temperature, instead of dispensing the medication, she leaves for a patient consultation, which the previous time resulted in making me wait in excess of 30minutes. No one else has the authority to dispense the medication either. The attitude is very bad. She is not willing to listen or neither is she helpful or sympathetic towards a patient's needs. I wish there was another pharmacy on this side of the station. Never had such horrible service from this pharmacy, as the previous pharmacist was very knowledgeable and always ready to help with any questions. I have seen other patients complain and rolling the eyes at this poor service. Such a shame! The other staff are always very kind and helpful to the best they could"
