"Wouldn't bother. Really poor service from staff. Empty place, but when we sat by the fire we were told we'd have to move if a larger group came in. Ordered a bottle of wine and had to wait 25 mins for it to come despite nobody else present but the bar staff's pal. Freezing as well as the poor girl couldn't light the fire"

"Good selection of beers but quite expensive and very unfriendly staff. I came in with one other person on a Wednesday evening when the place was literally empty. We chose to sit next to the little open fire and just as we were about to sit down the barman said: "If it is just the two of you, can you sit at a smaller table?" I can't recall having ever been prevented from sitting somewhere in an empty bar before. It really soured the vibe."
