"We went here for a work dinner, not being from Edinburgh I booked this online based on the reviews. It does look very romantic from the outside as it's quite small, about 9 tables. The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding and really happy we found it. Everyone enjoyed their food; a good choice of wines and the gentleman serving us were so warm and friendly. We visited on a Thursday evening as a group of 6 and we were really looked after"

The main courses were lasagna, veal and smoked salmon pasta. The lasagna and veal were fine, but pasta was very fishy and salty. The wine was excellent. We never got our water refilled. I would go back for the great ambiance."
