Reviews of Rishi's Indian Aroma
"Looking at the other reviews, I am surprised to see a number of 1 star reviews, with a long list of complaints. We have not found that to be our experience, and I wonder if it might be a reflection of a competitive Indian restaurant scene ? We have been lunching on dosas for a few years now, and have always found it to be a good, filling, tasty, reasonably priced, sit in meal in the city. I've had a lunchtime curry on occasion and have also thought they were just fine. Service has always been of high standard, quick, and efficient."
"We came as a party of 10 and loved it. Orders were all correct (considering the amount we had), food was delicious and the service was really great. The dosas especially were delicious. Only negative is that the tables were slightly too small if you’re having dosas, because of the size of them. Can feel like Tetris trying to fit everyone on at once."
"Really disappointed with the service at this restaurant. Management should definitely teach the hotel staff to treat the customers with atleast basic courtesy. All dosa varieties available. Most of the curries and Indian breads available. Price is also not very reasonable when compared to other Indian restaurants in Glasgow. My overall experience in this restaurant was really bad. Please read all the reviews in Google before you wanna try Rishis."
"Been to Glasgow for a short trip. We came to rishis by seeing the reviews and in past I been to Edinburgh rishis several times. We totally got disappointed with the food from Glasgow. Website is showing that closing time is 11 pm when we went at 9 they mentioned closing time is 10 and need to order by 9:30. As we went a group of 9 friends. We ordered a larger amount of food at same time as it is closing. All dosas we got is completely cold. I can’t even feel the taste of rava dosa. They malabar fish curry is completely disaster. Chicken lollipops and chicken 65 is tasteless. Jeera rice and egg fried rice is okay. Their tandoori grilled cost is not at all worthy. Chole curry is too bad. No clue how they got good reviews. Service is okay. Ambience is average, music is too loud. Edinburgh branch is so so far better than yours. Spent around 280£ but none of one in our group enjoyed your food"
