"Did the Dome experience with 7 friends. What a brilliant night. Heaters kept the dome warm and we could listen to our own music which by the end of the night saw us all dancing in the dome. Service was very good although a little slow. Food was good but not exceptional and therefore overpriced. The experience is definitely worth it."
"Have now booked the domes twice, for very different guests. Some tee total, and others very much not. Both experiences have been fabulous helped by our waitress Melody who was fantastic on both occasions. The food is excellent too. Make sure you book a dome well in advance as there is usually a waiting list"
"Did the dome dining here. It was a fabulous experience! Full moon was out. Play your own music in a heated dome. Experience was 10/10. Food was only okay though. Had the fish and chips 6/10."
"Eleni, Bradley, Lucas and Chef were exemplary. The food was fab and they were ALL excellent with my cousin. ..coped well with the wheelchair and went beyond the extra mile ! We will be back. Cannot thank them enough.!!"
"Went tonight (22/05/22) for a family meal for 4 with our dog. We had the Haddock, a Margherita pizza and two steak pies. Fish was very good sized and priced accordingly as was the pizza which looked well made & authentic. Unfortunately the two steak pies were seriously underwhelming and seriously over priced for the portion & quality served. I have worked in the leisure industry for almost three decades and my wife is a retired chef, we both know cheap catering prepacked pies when we see & taste them. The giveaway is the size and the underside with the foil tray pattern left behind after cooking Added to the pies were only 3 pieces of tender stem broccoli and 4 pieces of carrot, the mash serving was about the size of a large serving spoon. Attached are some photo's. The steak pie flavour was good, well cooked, but at £14.50 is not great, more veg and a larger helping of mash would have helped offset the meagre pie but they shouldn't be serving cheap catering pies at this price anyway. The desserts were of similar lower end quality with the brownie being cut from a large catering foil tray of the sorts you get in places like Premier Inn. Overall it was basic and middle of the road except the pizza which looked like some effort had been put in to hand make it. For the record we gave feedback at the time. Service was excellent and was better than the food would imply. Last week we ate at the Tickled Trout, paid about £10 more roughly but the quality was on a much higher level. Honest assessment is that the food quality is on a level somewhere between a family cafe and a Harvester."
