"We stopped for a last minute late lunch without a booking but the host managed to find us a table at the counter. Food is delicious and fresh. We had the parmigiana, a vegetarian pizza and a side salad to share, all of which we would recommend! Service was very friendly and efficient too!"
"Bosco has a fantastic, warm and rustic atmosphere with an open kitchen and a fire pizza oven. The menu is varied and the food was great, however was missing signature flavours and felt "could cook it at home". The drinks menu was the biggest menu, focussing mostly on wine and a very limited one-sided cocktail selection. We requested some classics, which they couldn't do, and ended up ordering a sweet version of the White Lady cocktail which we actually really enjoyed. The chef in the open kitchen served us directly and was really lovely and it was great watching the kitchen staff prepare our dishes. My recommendation: Definitely ask for a table at the open kitchen when you're coming in!"
"Perfect for a late lunch, the pizzas are excellent, the perfect combination of crispy, blistered crust and slightly doughy middle. I generally order the Venetian so I don’t have to share with my wife as she hates anchovies! Build your own cheese and meat plates are a nice idea too, the fennel salami is a thing of wonder. Short, well-priced wine list. Exactly the sort of good quality neighbourhood restaurant we all want."
"We rocked up at 3.15pm for lunch and they didn’t bat an eyelid. Charming and friendly staff here. I had a very good pizza with anchovies and my husband’s 2 course deal was excellent value. I managed to photograph the arancini but we were too hungry to photograph the carbonara and pizza. Oh well, I recommend this place for a late lunch in a relaxed atmosphere."
