"What can I say, explained my delicate circumstances to Stephen over the phone. I must say I’m distressed, upset and in a vulnerable place right now as a victim of domestic assault. Explained that my child is being taken from me and I need legal advice. Was met with blunt response and told I couldn’t be helped without paying 170 an hour for a consultation. Is this really the price we’re charging vulnerable individuals in todays society. The phone call ended with Stephen hanging up after I explained I simply couldn’t afford that during a cost of living crisis. I would have at least expected a referral to someone who might be able to help me or just anything, even a goodbye? Thank you Stephen, very helpful. Absolutely won’t be recommending your practice. The opposite in fact. Nice to chat to someone who sums up most of what’s wrong with today greedy conservative society. All the best."

"If you want someone who never replies and when he does will intimate you on the phone saying he's the solicitor and accuse you of having a attitude followed by putting the phone down on you then this is your man. Doesn't understand sensitive situations regarding children and tries to gey everyone to apply for non molestation orders in order to gain legal aid to fund his lifestyle. Avoid at all costs like alot of these reviews say!!! Wants to cause a war instead of following the family law act. Unprofessional"

"Doesn't reply back to emails and takes a while to call back. Also now everything concluded at court, I phoned to speak with Steven about something he's still not yet me from social, Steven was very rude and put the phone down on me and I've still not received a copy from him regarding socials statement. I wouldn't recommend Steven if you fighting to get your children. He gave me false hope of getting my children into My care. Doesn't advice you properly. Steven can be rude at times when talking to you on the phone and doesn't listen to you properly and will cut you off."

"I can not praise this man and his firm enough. After 2 very long year's and moving solicitors twice Stephen with the aid of his excellent barristers have helped save my children. My advice is to choose this solicitor, have patience and wait for the calls or email back. They do come when he has something new to add. He is clear and decisive and offers superb advice.
