"My friends and I use to book the outdoor football pitch every second Sunday. Usually we would book via email/ phone. When we booked via phone we were told we could just turn up at pay. A couple of weeks ago 12 of us turned up to play, I thought I had emailed to book but I released the email was stuck in my outbox. When I went into reception to pay I was told we could not use the pitch as we had not booked. I explained in the past that we had paid on the day with reception. The lady behind the desk said the pitch was fully booked for the day. We play most Sundays and we have always been the only people there. It was 3pm and the centre closes at 5pm and the pitch was completely empty. My friend then went into speak to lady and she gave another excuse and said they were too busy to open the pitch and you have to book 1 week in advance (which we have never done) Needless to say we were all very disappointed. We hung around till 4pm and the pitch remained empty. We just go the feeling the reception did not want to play/ wanted to go home. We now play at Solihull Football centre which has much better facilities and much better customer service."
