"Rob was amazing from start to finish. Having to say goodbye to Alfie was the hardest decision and experience of our lives and Rob was with us all the way. He was flexible and supportive and made what was a horrendous experience more bearable. It was the best decision we ever made to let our boy pass in the comfort of his own home surrounded by the whole family. The follow up service with cremation and returning of ashes was also excellent and allowed us to grieve without worrying about all these things. We can’t recommend Rob highly enough."

"I couldn't rate Rob enough for the service he provided for our amazing boy. This was the hardest decision I have ever made but I don't regret our choice for Nero. If you have to make this decision I would highly recommend Pets at Rest. It was a very calm and gentle experience for Nero and all he knew was that someone came to give him a fuss and he ate lots of treats. He fell asleep gently in my arms in our living room having cuddles and was fast asleep when the final moment came. We had time with him in private after his sedation whilst he settled and fell to sleep. I have had a dog put to sleep previously and this was a far far more peaceful experience for all of us. Rob was very kind, thoughtful and professional from start to finish. He was very reassuring towards me and having been very worried about the decision he reassured me I was making the right decision for my treasured best friend. He came very quickly after we spoke to him. I couldn't make the telephone call, but when I met him at our home he put me at ease instantly. He didn't rush the process and gave us the time we needed. He talked us through it all and have reassurance when needed. Letting me know there wasn't right or wrong answers. It's taken me a couple of months to write this as its been a difficult time. But I cannot stress enough what a difference Robs service made to making this a kinder experience for my boy. Some photos of him in his prime, living his life to the full like he did for the 11 years with me. Thank you, for all you did for us Rob, it was very much appreciated at a very sad time. Nero deserved the best and he certainly got it."

Right from the first message he was understanding and compassionate, I couldn't speak about Roxy without getting upset and Rob understood completely. He gave me fantastic advice from the get go and helped us to look out for when it was the right time to help our precious girl with her final journey over the rainbow bridge. He treated all of us with respect and understanding, but especially Roxy. He helped to create a calm atmosphere and talked us through what we could expect to see. There was no suffering at all, Roxy drifted off to sleep surrounded by her family in her own home.
