"Lived here for two years, Staff was wonderful and I loved the facilities. 10/10 will return :)"
"I have lived in Quebec House for a year now and i did have a really good experience, especially the staff they are so friendly and helpful whenever I had an issue, the location of Quebec House is also so central which makes it close to everything and the rooms are so cosy as well"
"We stayed at Quebec House during the academic year of 2020-2021. We were very disappointed with manager Harris at the start of the year. However, Pedro replaced him last April and since then everything has been perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to name him the best manager! Francesca has also been very nice and we will miss them both."
"The best student accommodation. Excellent environment safe, clean and quiet . Friendly staff specially the accommodation manager Haris Varvouzanis he is very professional with an outstanding organizational skills on top of all that he understands the students life and always keep us motivated and made us feel like home. I would definitely recommend Quebec House Kingston to anyone who is looking for a second home away from home ."
"If you’re on the budget and looking for student accommodation it is a good place to live as it ensures the best price to quality ratio in student accommodation in Kingston. Dual occupancy is free of charge, but the rooms aren’t really suited for it - don’t believe it’s enough space for two... Although it would be cheaper and higher standard just moving to a flat with some mates. I’ve been living there on my foundation year with my gf and it was a nightmare. Over the summer it’s hot like hell in the rooms and corridors, only the common space have air conditioning. At the time I lived there it wasn’t possible to open the window wide “due to safety reasons” which resulted in overheated rooms. I bought a thermometer to check and over The summer temperature in the room went up to 36 Celsius!!! Over the winter it was really cold. Washing machines are really expensive and the laundromat hasn’t been working for several months, so if you lost your laundry card you were f*cked. Several complaints made to the laundry operator did not help. Socializing wasn’t possible because the common rooms were constantly occupied by the same group of people and you couldn’t use it without getting the looks. The common areas were good only because of the air conditioning. Furniture in the rooms and common space is the cheapest possible. The kitchen in the studios aren’t good standards, it’s been breaking few times and required maintenance. Good thing is that they just came and fixed it but that’s all I can say. We just spent a lot of money for takeaways, because it wasn’t worth using it. Every time you cooked the fire alarm went on. The rooms aren’t too spacious and definitely are just for one person, not for couples. Speaking of, the walls are so thin that you can literally hear your neighbors having sex... I give three stars just because of price to quality ratio in student accommodation services but if I chose to rate my living experience it’d be 2/10."
