"I cannot believe how bad this operation/service is. I've been a customer for about 3 years. Everything still runs on forms you have to fill in, nothing can be completed over the phone or in a simple fashion online. You fill in one form and send it off, then 12 weeks later get a response saying you made a mistake and have to do it again, without providing sufficient detail on what the mistake was. It is truly amazing that a business can run a bank with such a poor service and no reward for you as a customer."
"Absolutely awful bank to setup a Business Bank account with. I've been waiting for weeks and keep getting told a different story. Even The Complaints team don't have any interest in helping me and only reply if I chase them. As a long serving Personal Customer, I am truly disgusted in the way they have treated me and have lost money as as a result of their poor service."
"Natwest have frozen my account after an internal error which they admit. The account is still frozen and they have not called me back for 18 hours. My business is now unable to pay its staff and out google account has been suspended. This is unacceptable and an appalling way to treat a company."
"THE WORST BANK EVER EVER! I am a working mother and I run a small business and time is so precious. 4th call. I have been waiting over 50 mimutes for anyone to answer. The "chat online," was almost as slow. I've now spend almsot 4 hours just trying to find out how to add another online account for our FD. This is beyond ridiculous Natwest you shoud be ashamed. It would be quicker to open another account than to get s simple resposnse & if your website was straignt forward I wouldn't even have to ask for help in the first place. If you are considerinig opening an account with them I would reccomend to ogo elsewhere - they don't care and are huge time wasters"
"- Handing anything at the branch IS NOT SAFE, like they tell you. someone opened my envelope and added a note to close my account and send the money to an account that doesn't belong to me. - No phone or email updates. you have to call up and find out if they need anything else from you. if i didn't phone up they were going to close my business account an send all the money to some random fraud account. Im fuming at how slow and oblivious they are. - 7 weeks an counting to add 1 and remove 1 signatory. - Dont bother going to the branch if you have any business issues, cause all they will do is give you a phone number and do nothing else for you. - The stuff who pick up the phone calls just read worth less sh** of their screens. when you ask them a question that needs an answer they always say leave it with us an we will speak to whatever department they need to. Why can't we speak straight to appropriate departments instead of mid-department who dont have all the answers. - We have two Natwest branches in coventry which are tiny and extremely busy every day of the week. i have been to the branch three times this year with a 30mins waiting time every single time. two branches for a city the size of coventry is just ridiculous. Once we have sorted this mess, we are off to bank with someone else."
