"Process Complete form and share your bank transactions through portal. Within a minute you’ll receive a phone call to arrange a in branch appointment. You’ll receive emails saying you’ve been accepted for a loan in the mean time. Turn up for appointment fairly nice fellas in branch who then go through every transaction you’ve done in the last two months. Literally everything for over an hour (They don’t explain what the process is before the meeting begins). After an hour of them asking you to confirm that it was definitely a kitkat you bought from one stop that cost you £1.20 there’ll finally say everything is okay. The contract is given to you to sign with the direct debit mandate and they explain all the repayment details. Then the branch manager will come in the meeting and explain the contract terms and confirm you’re happy with loan. You then get the contract put in a nice folder and you’ll leave the meeting saying bye thinking that your loan is approved. During the remainder of the day you’ll be planning how you manage the funds when received. You could be calling people to say you’ll pay what you owe or booking visits to buy a car you need. Then after 24hours you’ll be thinking I haven’t heard from them and no funds have been deposited. Leave it a couple of hours and a text will arrive informing you the loan hasn’t been approved. You’ll then desperately worry that you may end up on TV on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway prank section. You’ll think back to the meeting and be thinking was it Ant who was the branch manager or was that Dec. Anyway having realised it’s not a prank you are left bewildered by the whole process. Then after adding a review of the experience you’ll probably receive a reply advising they’re a responsible lender and have to perform all the checks."
