"It's almost like administrative offices at Essential Living are phantom and there is no one on the other side of the screen. I have rented an apartment for my student daughter from South Africa. Getting your lease in place is smooth sailing naturally but once you in you are on your own. Any admin or other needs from them are a nightmare to say the least. No one answers and attends to emails on anything including account queries, refunds, maintenance etc. After emailing and coping every department at Essential Living for the upteenth time on my account recon and refund the only response you eventually get is to tell you that they working on it... that was two months ago and all subsequent follow up emails have remained unanswered.... .. Absolute nightmare once you are in there. So much frustration! Apartments beautiful but the frustrations once you in are endless.... don't know that I could do it again."
