Rowlands Pharmacy Melling

"I had to pick my prescription up today which the doctor had sent through yesterday, the lady behind the counter said it wouldn't be ready till Tuesday, when she saw the luck on my face she asked "was it urgent"!! Of course it was urgent, they were strong pain killers to solve a problem I've had for over a week, then she replied "oh okay I'll give them to you today"!!! I would like to know if they have received my prescription,had the medication I needed on the shelf,WHY was she going to make me wait for another 5 days . I was in that much pain I couldn't be bothered to argue. It was a joke."

"The staff are lovely always helpful, if my medication isn’t ready I just pop back the next day I never let my medication run out without ordering a few days before it does. Louise the pharmacist does a yearly review of my prescription which is very helpful. The girls are always cheery and welcoming. My name is Kath Currie xx"

"I went in to this pharmacy on Thursday afternoon to my important heart drugs up, the prescription had been authorised on Monday, not usually, the medicines were not ready even though it was 3 full days, and I said I would call back later, I remembered at 5.10pm on Friday and dashed round to collect them as now I have got none left. The shop was getting ready to close and the door was locked , an elderly gentleman who normally drives the Rowlands van refused to let me come in for the drugs even though there were 3 people inside. If this pharmacy stopped the practice of waiting until people come for their medicines before they dispense this situation would not happen, this, in my view, stupid practice happens all the time. The very rude man inside the shop should not be in a position where he can play god with people's health. This matter is being reported to NHS England. These are very important heart tablets that I cannot do without."
