"Really nice location. Went for afternoon tea and spa day. The place was on really nice well kept grounds. Afternoon tea was great, portions were good size, maybe too many cake and sweets but we ate the whole thing! After we went to the spa and swimming pool. Loved the pool, no chlorine smell and the shampoo conditioner and body wash was of good quality. We had to bring our own sandals but the towels and bathrobe were included. Nice sauna but couldn't find the steam room. All in all a good day out and good food, will go again, staff were polite."

"We had the loveliest break at Greenwoods that was gifted to us as a wedding present, it has obviously all been recently updated and the spa is spotless and refurbed to a high standard. The head massage was sublime and the masseuse was super attentive, I was worried being part of a voucher that it might feel a bit of a add on but she really gave me a lovely treatment. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the 3 course meal was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The bedroom was decorated to a lovely, high standard and a great size and the whole hotel has a lovely character, along with the grounds. I highly highly recommend either as a gift or to visit yourself, you will not be disappointed."

"Didn’t stay but had a spa day with 3-course meal and have to say one of the best spas I’ve been too! Lovely and well maintained building with welcoming and friendly staff. The treatments were amazing and didn’t cost the earth, the food was just as amazing! Highly recommend going here!"

"The spa day was really good, the swimming pool was warm, the facilities were good, and the relaxing room was very tranquil with extra steam and dry room, however we were not told about this. Treatments were good. My only negative was I found the pool are to be slippery. No tea or coffee facilities in the Spa waiting area, you needed to get dressed and order at reception. Just thought that was a shame as I would have liked a hot drink while waiting for treatments. Lunch was lovely, food was good quality and the setting area was bright with views over the gardens. Really nice day"

"We had a day spa package here which included a treatment & lunch. The spa was immaculately clean, lovely decor & fantastic staff. I had a luxury facial. It was fantastic. Melanie is magic. Took time to ask about my skin & any concerns. The next 50 minutes were so relaxing. We then had lunch. The portions were huge, the food was perfect & the restaurant staff were brilliant. We then spent time relaxing in the pool & jacuzzi. I cannot fault anything. From checking in on main reception to settling our bill. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful day."
