"Had a work Christmas do here last Sunday. Bar v overpriced £11.50 for double vodka & coke! Starter Leek & Potato soup tasted watered down, barely any flavour. Main dinner Turkey roast, Turkey was lovely but broccoli, carrots, green beans all barely cooked, cutting into them meant they slipped off my plate. Desert I had chocolate torte which was lovely. My colleague had a different dessert (I think cheesecake) and pulled out a massive hair. Staff offered to get her something else but after seeing that she lost her appetite. DJ was good although hardly any space to dance. If it hadn’t of been paid for by my work, I would have requested a refund."
"Had afternoon tea here with my wife as I have never had this myself so my wife thought it be nice to take me here also we have been here several times to her work Christmas Parties over the years great venue for parties and was great sandwiches and cakes was lovely to sit outside not stayed in the rooms so can't rate them but by the quality services and food and having been there a number of times I should imagine they are nice also. Definitely worth the trip for afternoon tea I suggest everyone to try it as the pictures Definitely look very kool and posh and always always CREAM FIRST THEN JAM remember this no excuses now as you have heard it here as a FACT"
"Great hotel for business travellers. Clean and comfortable rooms although The annex is a walk away, going outside to get there. Housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was good with a veggie option. Kathy serving at breakfast was very busy but kind and helpful and cheerful to all guests. Will stay again for work. Also within easy reach of Lakeside Shopping Centre."
"We had our wedding at Stifford Hall Hotel recently and it was absolutely amazing. The Staff were friendly and awesome and everything went smoothly and to plan. Amanda was particularly helpful in working with us to make sure everything went to plan and to help us being our ideas and dream to life! But everyone i spoke to at the hotel the bar staff the waiting staff reception staff, everyone were absolutely wonderful! We were surprised by the cute swans and petals in our room on our bed was amazing! We had a completely vegan wedding as my partner and i are both vegan. We had canapes, wedding breakfast (starter-vegan arianchi balls, main-butternut squash and cauliflower curry, desert- salted caramel cheesecake)and an evening finger buffet. They said it was the first vegan wedding and it was all perfect! Thank you. All our guests vegan/non vegan loved the vegan food and had An amazing time. I 100% recommend this place for weddings/restaurant and a wonderful hotel stay too :)"
