"what a stunning hotel, with super friendly staff. Eccentric reception area, check/in was super fast and we got a complimentary upgrade for a birthday surprise (I know they can’t do this for everyone but it’s worth mentioning as it was a nice touch!) the hotel and room was very clean, really spacious and the mini bar is free for the first night (winner winner in London that is)"
"Overpriced. On the plus side it’s very close to Kings X. The lobby makes the place look trendy and chic but the rooms are no where near it. Small. Tired with dirty carpets. The wood in the shower was rotten. The bed was tiny. Not even sure it is was double. Ok for a single traveller but not for a couple. Paid upfront but they still take £100 deposit from your card when you check in. Defo not recommend. All hype but no substance. Very poor. 3 ⭐️ at best. No idea how they claiming to be a 5 ⭐️ hotel"
"The decor is great, they’ve obviously put a lot of effort into design. The rooms are surprisingly large for a London hotel in this price range. They do need a bit of maintenance, though: In our room, the carpet was obviously worn and in need of replacement and the sofa was threadbare in places. But it’s warm, comfortable, quiet, and well presented, and it’s right across the road from Kings Cross St Pancras, so it’s within easy reach of international connections and the tube to London’s various attractions. We’d stay here again."
"Not worth it for the money! I didn’t appreciate the extra charge for 1 hour early check-in. I requested a room with a window but receptionist gave me room without window. seeing that you’re a 5* hotel, I would expect a room with a window. Also the room was dirty and was infested with insects in the bathroom - again I wouldn’t expect this from a 5* hotel. this a honest and accurate review and I would be happy to discuss this further with a member of staff."
"Just arrived and feeling very disappointed. Room has empty water bottles from last person. Room is also nothing like the pictures it advertises. Very basic! Definitely 3 star at most. Gutted tbh"
