Reviews of Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge
"Stayed on a first-time business trip and, boy, this place does not disappoint. Whilst it is on the steeper side for an overnight stay, the extra facilities guests have access to (spa, gym, pool etc) in the price plus the service and quality of the rooms makes it value for money. Room service food was fantastic and the room amenities are excellent. Especially love the small Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms, makes a welcome change to a decent morning brew! My only comment is the shower in the room did have some light mould/mildew on the tiles around the ceiling, but honestly very light and only spotted because of my height. Not enough to bring the overall experience down at all. And the breakfast buffet service, whew! Amazing spread of cooked breakfast items, fruit, cereals, pastries, juices, everything! Leo's Restaurant where meals are served has a lovely open atmosphere and great lighting from the massive windows along the outside wall."
"A fantastic hotel all round! We absolutely loved it. Staff are well trained, plentiful, professional, friendly and helpful. Surroundings and rooms are spotlessly clean and smell gorgeous. Amenities are well presented and appealing. There is a games area with lots of fun things to do such as basketball, table tennis and table ice puk hockey. Rooms scream luxury and are full of delightful extras to make your stay comfortable - robes, slippers, luxury toiletries. Bathrooms are the same with marble surfaces and mirrored walls. The huge rainfall shower was lovely. The Spa is free to guests and we made full use of the large well equipped gym and massive Infinity pool which was the perfect temperature and a great place to relax. The hotel is vast and is located near to Tower Bridge and we were able to walk to lots of key London places. Highly recommend this gem of a place. Can't wait to return!"
"I liked my bedroom, but, the view from my large window was awful, (it looked directly out onto flats). I called Reception and explained. I was, without quibble, upgraded to an Executive King Room, where I could see Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The service was great and Reception staff helpful, professional and friendly. I took my Support dog with me. Again,no quibble. Wonderful bed - the mattress and duvet exceptional. I give the hotel 4 stars, because the restaurant layout, specifically the tablets and chairs, are reminiscent of a Diner, a street cafe. For the price of the rooms and the hotel’s high profile, owing to its location, one would expect an up market appearance. Also, I like to eat my meals either in silence, or low easy-listening music. Instead, 1970s/1980s Christmas carols were played. I had to ask them to turn the music down; they did slightly, but not enough for my taste. I might expect this type of music to be played in a bar, but not in an up class hotel restaurant."
"Nice hotel in a good location. I stay here for work most weeks and have no real complaints. The staff are really what make this place. There's an Aussie chap behind the bar who is great, and the bar manager (I assume) is too. The food and drink are the only real things that are an issue for me. It's not necessarily the quality the quality is okay, but the prices are insane for what you get considering there are so many other very good options only a short stroll away. Rooms are good enough with decent facilities. On my last stay, the room did have a fair few noticeable stains on the carpet and a constant dripping shower, which became rather annoying, hence the mark down. What I will say though which in my experience is quite rare in hotels is that the room is quiet, which makes a nice change. Beds and pillows are good. I tend to sleep well and lovely big windows for decent views of London buildings (if you like that kind of thing)."
"Great hotel, staff are super helpful and friendly. I booked a day pass for the Spa, which is a must, treatments on offer are fantastic. Super relaxing chill room and offers of free refreshments. Locker rooms are practical and clean. The spa facilities provided included steam room, jacuzzi, sauna and ice bucket shower. Which I found clean and in very good condition. The pool was spacious and lovely. The only down side to my experience was the towel bin was over flowing and hadn’t been changed within the 5 hours I was there. They offered free shampoo and body wash but no conditioner which was a bit disappointing and the lifts where a nightmare and had no stairs which led to the ground floor. Would recommend regardless as I was impressed with overall experience ❤️"
