Reviews of Pacific inn London Heathrow Hotel Southall
"It was an amazing stay at this hotel...staffs were very cooperative and they also gave us early check-in. Overall it was an awesome experience at this hotel."
"Like most hotels of this type, my stay at the Pacific Inn Hotel presented me with a range of pleasantries and challenges. If was budgeted (as I was during my initial visit), I guess I would consider staying at the Pacific Inn Hotel again. The hotel is located off Southall broadway, and I like the area. There is always something new to discover in Southall. It’s bustling, and the area boasts many inviting and hidden green spaces. The main male member of staff that I encountered at the front desk of the hotel was always helpful and attentive to me, no matter what problem I had. The hotel locks its doors from midnight to 7am, and customers have to call the hotel to be let in during these hours. This bespectacled male member of staff freely came downstairs to let me in whenever I came back late from a night out. He made me feel welcome, and was very hospitable to me. In my hotel room, the provisions that needed to be clean were very clean. The shower was one the best that I have used at a hotel. The shower’s pressure, temperature and readiness was impressive to me. The toilet was clean, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Having said that, upon arriving to my comparatively large single room I noticed a hole in the door of the room’s bathroom which had been covered and patched with candy wrappers - no kidding. The hole was simply left like that. The decor in my single room was also a little tacky. The lower walls of the single room were desperately run down and discoloured. The room’s carpeting was deeply stained and very worn down. The room's window was located right over the head of the room's bed, and so any draft coming into the room could be felt on my face as I slept or napped. Because I was staying at the hotel for a whole week, I had a little panic attack when I saw all this. The internal noise in the hotel and from my neighbours next to me was considerable. I can still recall all the audible banging, door slamming and knocking that I heard from inside my room. I couldn’t help but notice how the hotel’s other guests would trade disturbances back and forth between each other. It wasn’t always a comfortable situation to be in. Yet, the most formidable is issue I had in my room was the presence of certain odours. It was like my single room was situated on top of an active kitchen space. There seemed to be nothing anyone could do about it. Despite the odours’ prevalence no one really tackled it, or did anything about it. Housekeeping opened a window in the main hall outside of my room, but that was about it. These smells being continuously present in a domestic situation where money was being exchanged was unacceptable to me. I experienced spicy takeaway cooking smells and sewage smells that seemed to come from the room’s plumbing. These smells were very distracting, especially as I tried to sleep. They would also linger throughout the day. The cooking smells seemed to be strongest in my section of the hotel. I didn’t notice that odour everywhere on the premises. Either way, because of these odours, I couldn’t close any of the windows in my room. This made the single room I was in generally breezier, and so I had to go to bed fully clothed. Luckily, it wasn’t really cold during my time at the Pacific Inn Hotel. If it was colder, I don’t know how I would’ve coped. Everything I did in that room was about managing that smell. I wasn’t convinced that moving to a different room would resolve the issue. It seemed to engulf the whole floor."
"There 208 room's the curtain was ripped and light was shining through and the bed was very bad quality. There was light coming through the ceiling."
"Fantastic place to stay at. The location is very, very good. Check in and check out were smooth."
