Reviews
"Had looked this place up as we wanted somewhere that served food all day. Reviews looked good, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 4pm, it was mid week so it was relatively quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. Make sure you go hungry as the portions are massive. We have big appetites so were fine. Food was delicious and the service throughout was excellent. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended to friends."
"In brief; great food, great beer and first class service. We called in on a Thursday lunch time just before 12:30 and to our surprise the carpark and the pub were already full. We hadn't booked in advance and although there was only two of us we were lucky to get a table. Next time we will definitely book a table in advance. There was a good selection of beers and the beer we had was great. The menu offered a good selection of dishes, we had only called in for a light lunch and went with the chicken sandwich, which was served with chips, not quite a light lunch, it was very filling but it was fantastic, we really enjoyed it. All in all a great lunch, we will definitely be returning soon."
"Our first visit to this establishment. And we weren't disappointed. I had a shepherd's pie, which you don't find on the menu at many places. It was absolutely delicious. My partner had a 12 oz sirloin, which I tried. This was nice and tender, with lots of flavour. Portion size was huge, so she couldn't finish it. I definitely recommend."
