"Dr Jacobs but extremely gentle and patient with both our newborn and 3 year old. Very friendly and helpful especially since the red book we provided was in a different language. His staff were also incredibly helpful as they managed to squeeze us in at a location closer to where we were as we had a family emergency."
"I took my daughter to see Dr Jacob's, as she was suffering with joint pain daily, as well as extreme tiredness. Although we let her lead (she's 14), Dr Jacob's completely ignored me and my husband. He accused me of 'shouting out' when I offered an opinion. He wouldn't even look at me and my husband, absolutely not interested in anything we had to say. Dr Jacob's looked bored when she was listing symptoms, even checking his phone several times. She's been on a diet for sometime, but failed to lose weight and was hoping to get advise, he said all her problems were down to her weight and anxiety. He's also a vit d specialist, so obviously everything is also atributed to this despite her having symptoms when we lived abroad where sunshine was abundant.Needless to say, she was devastated. Dr Jacob's then said he doesn't like 'labelling illnesses ' as he feels the diagnosis doesn't help and would give her an excuse to be lazy. He also stated my anxiety as part of the problem. We were hoping for a diagnosis, so we can source the right treatment and improve her quality of life. My daughter was quite clearly showing symptoms of a condition, for which its common for Dr's to gaslight people before getting a diagnosis. I looked this up afterwards, apparently its unethical to suspect a diagnosis and withhold it. My daughter is now wary of seeing another doctor, after this terrible experience. Absolutely would never recommend seeing this doctor.i thought long and hard whether to post this review, I just didn't want anyone else having to go through this.i even had to ask Dr Jacob's to add to the report, he didn't want'labelling or umbrella ' her condition, as I hope it won't influence her getting a diagnosis by a Dr who actually cares about patients quality of life."
"We took our daughter to see Dr Jacobs about an issue with her knee. The Dr was very patient, kind and knowledgeable. After a series of examinations and tests, our minds were out at rest that our daughter had a deficiency in vitamin D and Dr Jacobs recommended a product that appears to have almost resolved the issue! Very pleased with seeing Dr Jacobs and would highly recommend."
