"My mum and I have been registered with this surgery for years. Current management are the best. We last saw paramedic Oliver and Nurse Tracy, absolute gems. They are very thorough, professional and kind. I recently had an issue with 1 new locum Dr and received a contact from the practice manager Paula who was equally attentive, prompt and very professional, she solved the issue for us very quickly with great level of care and kindness, not to forget the lovely reception staff Nicci and Zoe and all of the other reception staff who always help patient over the phone with appointments and greet everyone with a friendly smile. Keep up the good work everyone."
"I suffer from neuropathy and I have called and called but no answer! One time I asked for a prescription (am on morphine) and I was told no! If anyone knows of a GP that cares for there patients, please help because am in agony!!!"
"Rang again for a bedbound patient waiting since Oct for a booster... Still no joy since October. It would be nice to know the real situation instead of feeling fobbed off again. Patient asked me to put this comment for her."
"The receptionist needs to know exactly what's wrong with you before giving you a closer appointment. Otherwise they will give you an appointment two days later. I'm not sure how they get to judge what symptoms should get appointment today or tomorrow. Getting a referral is also a herculean task."
"A few months back I had what I felt was a chest infection. I called Clover Health Centre and they offered me a telephone consultation one week on, I told them my concerns about leaving it that long and that I didn't see how a telephone consultation would help me. The receptionist told me that if I was concerned I should go to A&E. I did indeed go to A&E and I did in fact have an infection. This telephone consultation policy that Clover Health Centre seem to have now permanently adopted, has gone too far. This practice is based solely on the interests of Clover Health Centre staff, with no consideration for the health and welfare of the patients they serve. The doctors at Clover Health Centre should be ashamed that they are not representing their patients to the best of their ability. What next, fire-fighters not turning up to a house fire in case they burn themselves. And the past few days... I phoned for an appointment three days in succession for my daughter. The calls were answered by the automated system after which I waited for at least 30mins on each occasion before giving up when no one actually answered the call. I have now had enough of Clover Health Centre. In my opinion they should be investigated as they are being funded but not providing even a basic service. I'm aware that most surgeries have poor reviews, however, I note that Clover Health Centres feedback is particularly shocking. Like I stated, they should be ashamed of this, but I suspect they won't care so long as the funding continues to flow in. I will now register my family with another surgery."
