"What a warm and welcoming environment we found at the Crickett's. The whole place was so packed, and bar filled but we both got a warm welcome and served almost immediately. The food portions where ample and we feel they were very good value for money. The lady chef Corine came out and had a chat with us personally which really made us feel welcome. "We were staying in a nearby campsite on holiday with our two dogs and came across this lovely pub on one of our walks, they were friendly, very nicely decorated inside and very comfy, our dogs were made welcome and we ordered lunch and they even offered meat for the dogs. "Table for four tonight for husbands birthday. Booked in advance and received a very warm welcome on arrival. The choice from their Summer Smokehouse menu was fabulous. Everyone chose something different. The fish and chips was huge, with a delicious batter, the rib eye steak was perfect, with a good sized portion of chips, pulled pork burger was also generously sized and very tasty (we all had a try) and the smoked sausage dog was fabulous. Four full bellies, so two desserts between us was perfect. We'll be back, because we've just found our new favourite place"
