"I have to say Bhupinder, the clinical pharmacist at the surgery has been fantastic at helping solve my prescription issues. Please do not ever let her go! My Doctor, Dr B is also amazing! But, I do feel that we still need to jump through hoops to see our doctor in person, and it would be good to return to how it was pre-pandemic. To be able to just make an appointment, and see our doctors at the surgery. Overall, everyone I speak to at the surgery is friendly, and helpful, I just feel we need to allow patients back in to see their doctors."
"I find it hit hit and miss. Reception staff are really polite. But the Dr's I feel have too many patients to really give a quality of care to people. I need a referal and I've been waiting months for a Dr to get back to me for something potentially quite detrimental to my health. I do feel let down in this way as I have become a number and not a person. A doctor sadly will see a number and not a person with a life and trails of worry that come along with not being well. I believe this is the case throughout the NHS there is not enough care to meet the demand. I will say average wait time on phone can be long but again I imagine its a huge volume of calls. Overall its not the worst in the area as I said receptionists have always been really polite"
"Having been a patient at this surgery since the place was built back in the 70s, I have witnessed a steady deterioration in every department, to the point of desperation that I feel today. It’s no longer the helpful surgery with pleasant staff that it used to be. No-one seems to care now, everybody you speak to (if you’re fortunate enough to speak to somebody) is immediately on the defensive, as if they’re expecting you to be awkward or impolite. I can’t remain a patient at this place any longer. I have to find an alternative surgery where I can be treated with the same respect that I give to other people."
"After covid i felt like the doctors no longer want to see any patinents if its like this they shouldnt working. Everyday that i call they dont have appointment or when thy book appointment thy dignose patient through phone without seeing them. Last week i had pain i was booked with nurse she adviced me to go E&A so i went to hospital wait time 7 hours after seen the doctor in hospital he told me why im here its emergency department why your gp send you here . I feel like i am been passing around bad service"
"Thank you for your help today in setting up my on line patient access. I am new to the surgery and to date I have found the team to be helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. As a retired NHS worker and having read some of the reviews, I would suggest people lobby their MP for proper funding and resources rather than leaving poor reviews about the surgery. Primary health care, free at the point of access, is a precious thing."
