"0/5 stars I would not recommend going to this branch, based on my personal experiences. Whilst the service was prompt when arranging to measure my kitchen, it soon became abysmal. There were delays in getting a reply via call or email. I was told multiple times that I would receive a callback, and I did not. I had to chase everything, but as soon as the kitchen design was agreed upon, they expected a speedy payment. Following the payment and delivery, the kitchen fitter highlighted that they had missed multiple items from the design. I needed to change two doors and was charged an unreasonable fee. The change was due to the original design not offering drawers in the kitchen. There have been multiple issues with delivering the right items on the plan. Howden has made multiple huge mistakes. They continuously say they will get back in contact within a set timeframe, and they don't - this includes managers. I have had to chase multiple times a day to get through to anyone, including the managers who have been looking at the account. The kitchen itself is lovely, but the customer service is terrible, and therefore I would not recommend it. This has caused a tremendous amount of stress and has taken much longer than it needs to. They will quickly take your money and then fail to provide adequate assistance. They brush you off in calls, don't get back to you, and the items are pricey. If you are a first-time kitchen buyer, I will avoid this store"

"This is 2nd door I have purchased from this place. The previous one and this one bothe were damaged. The items aren't checked properly and shown to customers. When you open the item at home you see the damage. If you do by from this place, do check the items properly as I feel manipulate tactics are used to get rid of damaged stock."

"Rating for poor response and communication from Howdens. It depends on who you get assigned and the time of day/month/year. If you haven’t purchased or paid, you get quicker responses. Once you’ve paid for your order, response is nonexistent, sporadic or your queries/requests are completely ignored. I’ve asked several times for a soft copy of my final drawings and plans for my records after payment and delivery and haven’t received it yet after at least 2 months now. Howdens also automatically fit you with upgraded materials even though standard drawers suffice which cost half the price. Prices aren’t transparent, so that’s how they get you. I designed the entire kitchen, noted every single fitting by item number that was in the catalog and website and still had to liaise several times before understanding the costs a bit clearer. Even so, small detailed items that I asked for prices for were neglected so I just didn’t bother. Unless you have worked with howdens for a while or have someone really good that responds quickly and is extremely helpful, be prepared to do a lot of the leg work."
